Noah's Ark and the Rainbow Promise
Noah and the ark are part of the beginning of this series.

From the ark to a new beginning

The first two stories follow Noah and his family: the ark, the flood, the rainbow promise, and the responsibility of caring for the world as they begin again.

The third story takes place later and focuses on the Tower of Babel. This follows the order of our “From the Ark to Babel” series without presenting Noah as the main character of that final episode.

An idea for family or classroom reading

A place we can care for

You will need a small box, six blocks, and a cloth. An adult guides the reading and chooses a low, safe table. Suggested time: 15–20 minutes.

Read chapter 2 →
  1. Read about the new beginning. Open “A World to Care For Again.” Briefly discuss what needed care after the family left the ark.
  2. Prepare a shared space. Place the box and six blocks on the table. Imagine it is a place everyone uses and needs to care for.
  3. Take turns with one task. Take turns choosing a task: putting the blocks in the box, arranging the box, or wiping a clear space with the dry cloth. When one person finishes, the next chooses another task. Repeat a task if there are more participants.
  4. Choose a real way to help. Ask: “What part of our home can we care for together this week?” Choose a small task and decide who will do each step with an adult’s help.
